PR, Unique Visits & Selling website adverts

Could someone please tell me the value of selling advert links on a website if you consider the following?

My site has a PR of 5... but the unique visits are low <500PM.


I've seen many people advertising 5pm or 30/yr... and they mention and PR4 or PR5... but don't give any information about unique visitors per month..

Is the reason that the unique visitors are not important to the advertisers.. and the PR is more important and is being used to increase their websites pagerank?

Any insight would be apprciated.

Yeah, you could have people paying to get their link on a higher PR page just to increase their PR without any real concern for getting visitors. As long as the link gets the GoogleBot to them, they will get the visitors from Google. I have bought a lot of links to just increase the PR of my domain and hope to get it indexed faster.

I truly agree with u and along with it i can say is that getting a high PR naturally is a good sign of ur site being famous but even after that well there are some fraud ways to get a high PR too.
