most the sellers that understand PR may be a buying trigger / factor for new domainers include it in their sales listing. Since PR isn't really a very valid metric and can be faked easier than other metrics, it's not really something we look at promoting in it's own forum. It's mainly the newer domainers that fall prey to buying based on PR and wind up victims of the more unethical fake PR salesmen. What many newer domainers don't realize is that a simple google search for ANY term will show results of PR0 sites on page one making more money than PR8 sites on page 2. The only people that really buy / sell PR based sites are backlink sellers, which is a violation of the google TOS anyways to buy / sell backlinks.
Granted, there are some handy uses for PR and it does make a domain look a little better having some BLING medals pinned on its chest. I just think it would send the wrong message to new members that shouldn't be buying based on that metric alone.
The worth of PR has been a debate going on for years and always ends in the metric not being viable except for developers looking to sell links on their sites in violation of google tos. The occasional thread mentioning PR as a selling value isn't that big of a deal, but putting it on front stage and targeting it as value in its own forum isn't really something we want to do at this time.
Thanks for the suggestion,
