Curious to get some feedback per the new extension (dot.me) that just launched --- I saw some of the bids for the current dotme auction and I could not believe it --- then I consulted with some web and domain insiders -- they suggested the web will be more personal (more blogs, microblogs, etc) and Apple is rolling out a series of "me" products - mobileme -- Apple just paid significant money for me.com and many of the major companies' filed trademarks, even if for defensive reasons, received me filings during the sunrise ---
could this extension reach the traction of an org or mobi? Of course, it will never reach dotcom's shadow --- one thing, it's easy to brand --- 2 letters --- and unlike the dotmobi space (which I think has potential), it will be avail on websites with ample space for advertising ---
seems like it will fit in well with the so-called semantic and personalized web -- web 3.0, etc
anyone on this forum who grabbed some premium "me" s?
this could be a good bet --- with some potential IMO
