I know there is a hand reg thread already, but most of the posts there are just a simple domain name, and don't give any insight into the reason for choosing that name. It would be interesting for me, and possibly for new domainers, to see what influences a person to choose a name from the thousands that get dumped every day. I'll start with one that I've just picked up
BalticStory.com
The world is in a period of economic turmoil at the moment, and most of the news items being reported are either fake or misrepresentations. There are a few indicators that can help readers to determine the underlying truth. One of these is the Baltic Dry Index, and this is considered to be a good indicator of the level of international trade. Most people don't seem to have heard of it. I thought that "Baltic Story" was a good name to explain the story behind the Baltic Exchange, and the reason for the significance of the index.
What's the name worth? - probably not a lot at the moment, but with some decent content, it could generate some traffic for other political sites, and it should be able to generate a bit of income to cover running costs.
