I just received the email below: (I replaced my domain with "_____", I checked to see if he/she had actually registered the domains under .co.uk and .de and as I suspected he/she had'nt. I could be wrong but it sounds like some kind of scam. It could be a domain valuation scam or other type but beware nontheless!

-What makes me believe its a possible scam is that the domains they claim to own are no even registered! As well as the fact that they mention if I'm asking over or under $1 million for it (it is a 4 word subprime domain)!-

Happy New Year and Prosperous Domaining to All!

Here is the email I received:

I will reply... I might of jumped to conclusions

OK, thanks for your advice, you are both right, I will reply.

I probably jumped to the wrong conclusion since I've been scammed before.

it's ok, we all grow kinda paranoid but replying won't take you 5 minutes even
you might be shutting yourself from a good sale.

I heard about people make email list like this, once you reply they put your email on an active email list. "under or above milion" screams scam lol

I would ignore the email. Since the sender is already lying about domains they own, they are untrustworthy. I predict that if you do reply, they will eventually move you toward the old appraisal scam.
