I don't think very highly of .guru , but agree that if the right and left are a good match even the crappiest extensions can have some value.
I don't own any .guru but I do own some other questionable extensions like .dog

It is as you said, new gtld's work best when what is to the left flows with the right. Examples would be business/loans, send/money, save/money, the/news and so on. In my opinion those type of domains will have value now and in the near future.

I regged insure.horse and topup.cards for similar reasons. Hope it plays out as you suggest. Btw Thanks so much for the domain score spreadsheet posted on another thread. I assessed sentryify.com against it and it came up in a sweet spot, if i applied it correctly.
