Political advertising is one of the fastest growing advertising markets in the world. I am very interested in working with political domain name investors and collectors. I see there to be a lot of money to be made regardless of your political leanings.

I see 5 main groups in this years US election:

Libertarians (Far Right) - Popular with Cryptocurrency lobby groups
Conservatives (Mid Right) - Popular with retail & food lobby groups
Political MC's (Centre) - Popular with media & entertainment lobby groups
Liberal (Mid Centre) - Popular with worker unions
Socialist (Far Left) - Popular with welfare lobby groups

Last century didn't have the defining splits of the "Far Right & Mid Right" and "Far Left and Mid Left" and was more of a 3 party system (left, right & centre). I see future years have more defined splits and expanding outside the wing model that measures parties across a one dimensional line that is split into 5 groups in the modern culture. I am working on a model that splits people into 12 main groups. For me, I expect further splits in governments across the world as lobbying become a more precise and targeted process. I don't have a lot of faith in the longevity of the two-party political system but I am confident that it is very strong now. I am interested in views on political domain names. If anyone wants to share their political domains, feel welcome to share them.

You see from my perspective, I see the escalating US government debt (estimated at $35Trillion at the moment) to be a catalyst for a surge in the Libertarian movement. I see 2024 as a small surge that is a foundation for the 2028 election. I don't see Trump to be a true Libertarian as he spends too much money. I am building a case as to why the .black domain name is a potentially powerful domain extension for the Libertarian movement. I am starting this discussion about discussing the difference between the two main forms of gambling:

#RedGambling (Higher Average Payouts to the house/Red symbolises debt)
#BlackGambling (Higher Average Payouts to the gamblers/Black symbolises profit)

I am a statistician and the standard advice for gamblers from statisticians would be to use black gambling systems over red gambling systems. The problem lies with restrictive advertising laws that silence the businesses also silence the academics. Black gambling systems are still in their infancy and so most gambling systems follow a red business model.

For me, I am based in Australia where there is greater room for a clearly defined libertarian movement to break out of the conservative shadow. Hence I expect that things may move a lot faster in smaller countries like mine. I have three areas of focus that I am starting my campaigning in to give a stronger voice to the Libertarians that I call #TheBlackThree. I am working with investors to help them identify high quality .black domain names. I believe that there is strong evidence of a large Libertarian movement over time.

I am starting with my first area of focus being the gambling domain names. I expect that there is a good chance that over the next 50 years red gambling systems will mostly disappear. The gambling market is one of the largest markets in the world. I see the black gambling movement as one that pushes for higher average payouts to the gamblers.

I have been wrestling with trying to work out what is the best political domain extension as an alternative to .com. I have considered .net and .pink and talked about them on Namepros in the past. However, .black is a strong powerful accounting word that represents common sense financial management. The world is dealing with a financial literacy crisis and .black is a potential domain name to bring back the traditional financial values that have forgotten in society. Hence, I have settled on .black as the underrated domain extension that I am advocating.

I'm not sure I'm following your train of thought here. While politics is a form of gambling (on the outcome), I would not link gambling to any specific political doctrine. I get that you want to link Libertarians with being fiscally in the black, but that's a million miles away from gambling.

Have you ever thought of creating a simple entry portal in a common TLD that you then link out to the more specialized TLDs? If gambling is the central focus then an entertainment related domain could be used, and then that could be expanded out into other forms of entertainment, while you load the back end with your .black domains. Just a thought.

The psychological aspects of the colour black are ambiguous, it's the color of power and authority, it's associated with strength, mystery, elegance, and sophistication. Black also has meanings related to death, evil, aggression, and fear. And Black is also refered to black people.
So, why choose a colour as extension?

I have had some progress since I last commented. This is the process that I see:

Stage 1: Development of a Simulation Model for Direct Democracy to act as a prototype for proof of concept
Stage 2: Test Direct Democracy Model for Medium Size business (50-300 people) to get the business operating without a hierarchical style and get further refinement
Stage 3: Sell the Direct Democracy Model for Large Business (3000+) to get cost efficiencies by removing heirarchy out of the business and get further refinement
Stage 4: Sell the Direct Democracy Model for Small Governments to get cost efficiencies within the government and get further refinement
Stage 5: Sell the Direct Democracy Model for Large Governments to transform the world

Stage 2 & Stage 3 probably require testing in small countries as smaller countries have more flexible legal systems

The keywords that I am investing in are "trunk" and "z". The model which I have developed uses a trunk system (like trunk of tree or trunk of human body) and I am betting on the transition from Representative Democracy to Direct Democracy to happen years from now when Generation Z (People born between 1997 & 2012) will lead the charge. I don't think social media systems will be good models to use for Direct Democracy due to the poor Intellectual Property Management in social media. An efficient Direct Democracy system needs proper compensation for Intellectual Property developers in my opinion.

This process is what I am expecting will take the next 20 years to make an impact on the USA. .net is my favourite of the domain extensions to represent Generation Z. As I am not a generation Z person myself, I don't know what I they want. I am relieved that the TrumpVSHarris election is over. This gives a good 4 years to build a stronger campaign for Direct Democracy. I am building a team for working Stage 1 software in this project. I think that it is a lot more cost effective to build this software with businesses before approaching governments. This means that the process can be developed profitably and that a lot of the weaknesses of the models can be eliminated before having millions of people working with them.

I am really excited about the potential of developing the model on a small scale as my team is starting to come together. I talk to a range of young people in my life and most agree that they would prefer a policy-based government than a party-based government. As a data scientist, the databases that would be needed for a Direct Democracy need to cover a broader spectrum of data than a large portion of large databases in the world. There is so much potential work in this and I find the work exciting.

Why I think that this Direct Democracy software will be easy to sell is that businesses today need a very well defined balance of Artificial Intelligence and Human Intelligence. Direct Democracy software helps integrate intelligence management in businesses so that they can optimise human intelligence and computer intelligence for maximum profit. This intelligence that can be developed through Direct Democracy software becomes valuable intelligence to sell to governments. It also helps eliminate the need for expensive CEOs.

I didn't take the 2024 US election seriously as I see the two party system as a dying model. I believe that now that it is over, proper campaigning for Direct Democracy can now start in a more strategic way.

The .black argument that is presented above has some merit. I am having second thoughts about .pink. However, I do believe that there is a strong case for .net. I do like the .group suggestion.

I am talking about a political model where voters vote on policy rather than representatives. A simple version of this is where Switzerland has a lot of referendums and hence country members have a lot more control over country policy than other parts of the world. However, Switzerland has a strong focus on representation and so it is more of a partial Direct Democracy than the projected visions of the Direct Democracy advocates. To have a full functional Direct Democracy, forms of population stratification are required as functionally having referendums on everything is very messy.

I am advocating that a business running under Direct Democracy principles should have the same efficacy benefits that a government will. Hence, a well designed model for businesses should act as a prototype for governments to take the risks of a proposed Direct Democracy model. The business may be risking tens of millions whereas the country would be risking tens of billions. You may not call the business model a Direct Democracy but the same power structures can be executed and designed to prove efficacy and cost efficiency on a smaller scale.
