Hello everyone,

This is a domain only. No website. Would you please take the time to appraise this one. PokerPlayerss.com I know the extra s cheapens it to a grave degree but it still sounds like "Poker Players" when pronounced. I believe it would do good for someone who would be interested in developing it. I love words and typically enjoy "creating" made up words that are close to or have at least one major keyword contained in the domain.

I also own AppDownloadsz.com The z on the end hurts it, I know, but it still sounds like App Downloads when pronounced. If you would appraise this one, I'd appreciate it.

Just one more??? Low-InterestRates.com I know dashes are a big no-no so the value drops tremendously, but at least it is pronounced "Low Interest Rates" instead of SuperLowInterestRates.com

Thanks for your time. I have read the forum thread appraisal rules. I appreciate the fact that you may have to tell me that it's only worth the reg fee.:gl: D-:

I am here to learn how to be better at the domain name game. So any tips is always appreciated.

Avoid Playerss for Players, $0, unless your trying for typo traffic on a non trademark name

Avoid Downloads for Downloadsz $0

Not easy making up keyword off shoots that people actually want and are available

Low-InterestRates.com you own lowinterest-rates.com too. First one been reg and dropped at least once. Both very recent regs. Generally to get both in one swoop doesn't bode well for their value, and is very hard to look past. Buyers usually don't want any hyphens or one between every word. And both name in singular are available to reg. But there very nice keywords so any thing possible to an enduser. $x-$xx reseller

Please remember that members donate their time for free to provide appraisals to other members. It's common sometimes to receive a $0 or reg fee appraisal, please don't take it personally and keep in mind that people tend to use different valuing systems.

Thanks guys. Appreciate it. A lesson learned. I guess I was hoping they were brandable like some misspelled words are. I guess low-interestrates.com does have the most potential huh.

I see zero people typing this in the browser or searching for it. So $0 in my opinion for value

Oh...another lesson learned. I never knew that domain names were gauged by the likelihood of people typing the actual word in the browser or searching for it. That does make sense. Boy that means that most of my domains are $0 Back to the drawing board I go.

Question...why do "made up" words sell sometimes? No one types those in either OR search for them yet PokerPlayerss.com has an s on the end and thus has no value. I'm still learning...excuse my apparent ignorance.

Example: Xout.com sold $55k
And last year Jexy.com sold for $40k

Those domains are short and to the end user who purchased them they were very brandable for their use...

Trying to end a plural word with another s?
SUICIDE come to mind?

Or ending a plural word with a z?

Nothing for either domain.

Though if you keep quiet and nobody notices, you might sell if for a couple of bucks on ebay.

Oh...I see. The end user is key then and plus a made up word should remain short. Gotcha. Now what if a made up word has 6 letters? Is that considered short? What if it sounds like an actual word when pronounced? For example Sexszy? Does that help to give a made up word added value for a possible end user? Thanks for your input.

Thanks. I just might try Ebay and see if I can at least get my reg fee amount back. I wouldn't have bought these if I hadn't noticed how others with z on the end had sold already. Like Slabz.com sold for $8,000

coinss.com sold for $2,000

I figured since appdownloads.com was already in use, I'd just stick a z on the end of it and try to sell it for $250. Oy me! Back to the drawing board. Thanks for the teach. I might just try to get my reg fee back as I have no intention of developing appdownloadsz.com any time soon:laugh:

PokerPlayerss.com AppDownloadsz.com - would you add one more s or z if those were already taken? $0

Low-InterestRates.com - if you put hyphens - put it in between ALL not just some words, $0

LOL! No, I wouldn't do that but there are many domainers that do example sexxxx.com homesz.com homess.com
investmentss.com

But I see your point though. I will try and get my reg fees back on these. However, on the Low-InterestRates.com I was told by an experienced domainer to avoid using dashes if at all possible, but if you do use them try not to use more than one because when you do that takes the value down even further.:tri:

The first 2 you registered in the past 2 days. Godaddy will "grace delete" those if you call them and ask to grace delete them, they will refund your registration fee. IMO, you won't be making your reg. fee back on ebay. I'm not sure how long the grace delete period is now, but I believe it is too late on the 3rd one. Good luck :)

Wow!:o I would have never thought that PokerPlayerss.com had more value than Low-InterestRates.com You are right. It is trash. Honestly, I was going to KEEP the LTR and get rid of the Poker one. But now, I've decided to hold on to this one and get rid of the LIR one for $12. Thanks for the teach and the time you took to research this for me.

Please do not pay any attention to automated appraisals.
If you can grace those names back to GD, do it.

Peace,
Cyberian
