After going back and forth in a potential sale of the name for a good month or so, it finally fell through. That means that this one-of-a-kind name is now back on the market. Besides the fact that poker is a multi-billion dollar industry both online and offline and besides the ever growing strength of .in as an extension, this name has tremendous upside. March of next year brings the Asian Poker Classic, the first major poker tournament in India and likely the first of many. Also likely first of many is the Maharajah Club, casino/poker site sponsoring the tournament that is uniquely geared towards India as an online poker market. Poker.in already averages about 50-60 visits a month, so once that tournament comes around, traffic will likely go up quite a bit.

Oh yea, and don't forget nifty subdirectory domain hacks like Poker.In/Spanish, Poker.In/Germany, Poker.In/League, etc. As awesome of a generic name this is, it's also quite brandable.

Seeking mid $xx,xxx offers. PM me if interested.

Poker.in is still on the market, and to pass the time, I have started developing a blog for poker in India on it. A tiny bit of development and it's already PR 3! Highest offer received on it is $32,000, but am seeking higher offers on it. March is right around the corner, and there's no telling how high this name can get in value with big-time poker landing in India!

Also, it's gone from 50-60 visits a month (the rate it was at just a month ago) to over 4 uniques a day (120+ a month) in parking before I put the blog on it, and now has been averaging almost 6 visits a day since the blog has been up. Again, with March right around the corner and the increase in traffic starting on its own while the name has been parked, I think the buzz is out in India, and many people are typing in Poker.in to find out more, or perhaps to play poker! MaharajahClub.com & .net stands as the only poker room to cater to the India audience, leaving plenty of room for competition. Don't forget, India has over 1 BILLION people. Their stance on online gambling is the same as the US pre-online gambling bill, and the poker industry grew to over several billion dollars a year in the US during that time. India and China are the next logical places to try and recreate a poker boom, and whereas most people in China speak/read/write Chinese, English is one of the main languages in India, and as such Poker.in is the name primed for a huge boom in the future!

Please PM me if you have any questions about the name! Remember, high offer is $32,000 and I'm seeking more. I get offers nearly every week and the name is not only in Sedo's Top Names, it has been in their Most Wanted list several times, is the 4th most bidded on domain on Sedo with "poker" in it (not bad considering about half the time I've had it listed, it has had a $10,000 min bid which gets rid of the jokers), and comes up on top in searches for poker. As much as Sedo can be wrong or do some bad things, they clearly know the value of this name!

After negotiations with 2 more buyers fell through, the name is ONCE AGAIN on the market. Still seeking $40,000 for it, still a bargain. Poker.in perfectly targets over a billion people, and given the first big money tournament in India coming in just 2 months, the Indian poker market is about to explode a la the US when PartyPoker started to boom and the World Poker Tour started to be shown on TV. Goa, the location of the Asian Poker Classic in March, is the Indian equivalent of Nevada in the US and is already a major tourist attraction of India, so more press coverage to it may help it become another gambling mecca like Macau.

In addition, I have OnlinePoker.co.in for $2,000 for those who can't afford Poker.in. Don't let poker go wild in India without you going along for the ride!
