Yep. I've had about 8 offers of $10,000 or more, peaking at $20,000 about half a year ago, and have had one of the largest online casinos show interest in it when, per their words, "We receive lots of offers for buying domains every day. Since our brand is very strong we don't buy most of the offers. Your domain indeed may be interesting for us." I don't think they'd be interested in a name with little traffic that wasn't their brand name if they thought it sucked. I've been as high as 15th in Sedo's "Most Wanted Names" list, a list mostly filled with people directing traffic to their listings while I had absolutely ZERO external links to my listing nor did I tell people to go to it. I did have it featured there, but even when I don't have it featured, the listing averages 35 visits a day there.

I've been rather vocal of my displeasure of Afternic's appraisal. Their PMV was under my highest bid. They've previously overappraised ccTLDs there, even some of my own names like Business.tc (CMV $17,900.00, PMV $81,200.00, when I'd be lucky to get $5,000 for it). Half a month later, they wound up appraising Index.pk higher than Poker.in when .pk was only 10 days available and Index was available in at least a dozen extensions. Their search totals for index were huge compared to poker, which is directly opposite of what Overture shows, indicating they have a rather crappy system of figuring out searches for words. Conclusion: Afternic can't appraise a $1 bill let alone a domain.
