Just a thought from Hitch's thread...

How much pocket money do you get per week/month?
Do you save? Do you spend? Do you invest?

I get around $40AUD a month and I mostly save.
It's really hard to resist because you don't actually see the physical money, and always end up spending it :p

I make about $90 USD a week at my part-time grocery store job.
I put about 50% away every week to go into my bank account.
The rest goes either into a separate place or into my wallet, depending if I'm saving up for something I want. Over the past few months, I've been putting about $20 away per week and I was able to purchase the iPod I had been saving for.

I don't get pocket money. :p if I did, i would invest it, rather than just save. Of course, i would make sure that the investment was safe. Don't want to earn some money, only to see it disappear! :p

I spend about £40 every 3 months on topping up my school dinner card.

Gotta work online or something for my pocket money :P. But my parents do pay for things for me too.

Before I'd say I was only getting around $5 AUS/week ($3US) - Might as well have gotten nothing in the first place lol.

Well, because my mum is on another mas money-saving spree, my pocket money got cut down to £20 a month
But she owes me about £100, so its not all bad, lol

I also saved $U 100 (from my country) and I'ts like U$S 4.

well da government is giving me £30 a week to go to shool and i make around £70-80 from working. so far its half and half i spend on things like topping up ma fone for lunch,clothes, and da rest is saved for now

For £30 a week you need to stay on for 6th form this money is called EMA
