domain PN.net - Finally...

PN.net marks my first foray into 2-character names outside of ccTLDs. I picked this up in the last Traffic silent auction, where names were selling underpriced left and right. Going by the 3character.com letter definitions, P and N are both PREMIUM. Furthermore, acronym names ending in N are especially good as N can stand for Network or News, both extremely common last words in acronyms and websites. Acronym Finder has a boatload of meanings, but most of the better possibilities are not on that list, like Poker Network, Poker News, Porn Network, Phone Numbers, Pay Now, etc.

Any thoughts on value?

From the LL.net I sold, and the others I've made offers on / seen sold -- I'd value this above $20k.

Clearly, this is a great name to hold. I personally don't feel the prices that they sold for in TRAFFIC are a fair representation of what resellers on most domain name forums are paying. I'm not saying "we" know more, I'm just saying... maybe we are willing to pay more for "rare" names. Clearly a good number of potential end users, and it should get some traffic.

First time I've spent 5-figures on a name, over twice as much as the amount I spent to buy my first car about 6 years ago, lol.

Ugh, OK.net just closed on Afternic for under $14k. Granted, PN.net is MUCH better in letter quality and acronym possibilities, but OK being Oklahoma and also pretty much the word "okay" too, I thought it would go for higher. Still hoping for $20k+ on this name for sure, but I suppose it might take time to get.
