Plural vs singular of a domain I want? 100$ vs 3000$

I just got an offer for a name I want but it is the plural version.

Let's say for example the domain I want is denimbag.com (which is for sale for 3000$) and now I got an offer for denimbags.com for 100$

Does it make sense to get it? I already have a community site at denimbs.com and think about moving it to denimbags.com if I buy it. I never bought a domain so thats why I ask.

How much worth is plural vs singular? The immediate benefit of course would be to have both keywords in the domain name but then again I still don't have denim-bags.com.

Any advice would be great.

Just remember that the selling/asking price of a domain does NOT determine its value. Anyone can put any price on a domain regardless of the domain's true value.

Depends

The value depends on the domain and what you intend to use it for. I would argue that loans.com is worth more than loan.com, but marriage.com is worth more than marriages.com.
