Well I think you should have done more research. How do you think these names could be developed. I cannot easily envision a business using any of these names.

eurofunnel.com looks like eurotunnel, confusing and asking for trouble (TM)
liquoradvice.com (do we really need that)

However, gangstastreet.com has a bit of potential if you wanna blog about life in the ghetto :) but not sure someone will pay for this... Otherwise it could be a name for a band.
Good luck.

Thank you for your feed back! I appreciate the fact that you spent some time replying. However I would like you to know... I see liquoradvice.com as a site to get advice on alcoholic drinks, read reviews about liquors, bars, pubs and more. Also blogs about different alcoholic products, mixed drinks and tips, articles posted by experts in the industry etc. Also discussions or forums about high quality drinks that are qualified by age and other characteristics, ratings for alcoholic products, discount club and new product launch announcements. Someone who is into this niche will come up with more usages for these domain for sure. Also, you should do some research about marketing funnels, then you will have a better idea about the potential of eurofunnel.com. I never saw gangstastreet.com as a blog about life in the ghetto or name for a band but I think those are also very good ideas for an end user, so thanks. Some people just put random words together but this is not the case, I know each of these domains has a possible end user because I thought of it at the moment of creating them. I just want some advice from the NP community about how to price them because I don't want to make a mistake by pricing them too high and never be able to sell them or losing money by pricing them too low.

I'll offer a little support as I happen to like to LiquorAdvice - it's catchy and you could build out a nice page and drive some traffic. etc. Alcohol is a big market - just harder to monetize as it's a very restricted product. But, I see possibilities.

To the actual important part of my message:

Keep in mind the framework of the responses, you dont like, and re-RE-read them several times before and after watching Sherpa (the academy is a good investment, IMO, for the basics).

I said keep the framework of the responses in mind for an important reason. The -far smarter and more experienced people than I - will not respond with the positives or feel goods about what you may or might possibly do - they will tell you if they could resell it, see a potential to resell it, or if the "store front" the domain could bring them is of value.

Store front = easy sell/in demand/etc. and varies with the fads - FYI. But, what I really mean it is (or was) valuable but only for a window - dvds are not you prime keyword, now, for example.

Dont take anything personal, but try to take it to heart, you will look back and the one you thought was the harshest is the one you will likely send a thank you or buy them a coffee at the next convention.

Dont be shy, ask questions, and expect tough love - but everyone who takes the time to respond - obviously - wants to help. They could have just ignored the thread if they didn't care.

Good Luck,
Brian

Yeah it was just bought out by Andrew rosner and his team, michael cyger will still probably host it without all the headaches of running it ,its gonna be great , namepros is also a great great source ,just keep reading and soaking the experience of others up, visit namebio ,to see whats selling after a while you will notice you can buy a domain for 20 bucks that has the same value as something that traded at 2-5 grand ,the fact that you are open to and welcome tough feedback ,I think you will be one of the best and I may be looking for your help soon ,Good luck , Ben

I think the better word would be reviews or something like that right ? This one just doesn't strike me as a first choice.

Also, you should do some research about marketing funnels, then you will have a better idea about the potential of eurofunnel.com.
I see the potential for confusion. It looks so similar to a well known tunnel that it's asking for trouble (they have filed a few UDRPs in the past). I highly doubt you will easily find an end user for this one. Odd of a sale: zero. Odds of a C&D: high. IMO.

@Kate, yes I was thinking a review type personal blog.

Which is why I made sure and point out that advice from people like you (in particular) who are far more knowledgeable than I are the ones to listen to for solid advice.. You offer a ton of great advice to many people on NP. You have helped many who listen, me included.

In fact - way back in my beginning - I received almost the same message from you, and others of course. It was a tough pill but I listened, made some great sales, will be/am dropping the remaining junk, and filling with quality.

In fact @Kate, now that I think of it, I would like to thank you and buy you a coffee - if you happen to be going to the conference later this month, it would be great to say hi.

Great day all,
Brian
