Anyone on WiFi.name? Every single WiFi extension is taken ... any estimate on value will do.. is it a $XX domain, $XXX, X,XXX????

Hey by the way.. did godaddy give some kinda refund(Not assuming the domain name registration cost which they obviously will refund) or something back for doing that.. Like selling an already registered domain names... That is bad right. Just Curious

Here is what happened, after being on hold for the billing department for a good 20-25 minutes I told them thanks a lot for selling me domains that were already owned. I paid them with my PayPal Mastercard and they said they would refund me. So I asked them if they could just paypal me the money back and they won't do it. They have to reverse the charges on the Mastercard and it takes 5 days to get my money back.

It's was just annoying becuase I know with namecheap if they say a name is available and for some reason it isn't they stop you dead in your tracks at the payment processor.

Godaddy took me all the way to payment, let me pay. Sent me confirmations to my email box and made me think for a short time that I really owned those domains.

I just wish Goddady would be a bit more keen on this stuff, like have checks in balances in place so these things dont happen. I know namecheap does.

.. I know what you feel because the same thing happened to me with
ajc.info - with GoDaddy. I was able to buy it, and after 10-15 minutes , an error message arrived. so.. I'm sorry

I once registered a domain with godaddy just because they offered a free name reg with a purchase from Buy.com or Amazon, I forget which. I've used several registration services including Namecheap and mumerous other enom resellers. Godaddy has so far been the only one that not only consistently sends me emails for me to buy more services but also phones me (4 times so far in the past year) to sell me more crap. I despise godaddy.
