Please review this logo design resource site

Hi,
I would really appreciate any honest reviews / opinions on this new site in our network. Looking more for thoughts on the design / layout as opposed to usability.

On a side note (for anyone interested...), we have already sold $2700 worth of advertising on this site and 3 other new ones in our Logo Design Network.

Thanks! The template is custom. Took a few weeks to complete and integrate it, but I think it's worth it.

my turn now
so, first of all..maybe it's my internet..I'm not sure...you could use an ajax preloader, so it loads everything before they appear.. cause now, there are some css elements that take a very long time to appear
I like the template too...It's easy and nice
use a depth hover effect for the top-menu
Use some SEO components for joomla...
In the ads section on the right, few people will actually click on Advertise here..try putting it as a button, but in the same time so it blends with the bakground
and for the favicon, put the background transparent

Thanks for the detailed review! Part of one of the scripts does use Ajax - what elements of the css are taking a while to load for you?

I agree with needing a mouse over effect on the menu, that's one of my next projects.

what was loading slow.it was those boxes borders..the rounder corners appeared instantly though the other ones took some time to load
looking forward to see it updated

I think that is more that I need to optimize the images as those are actually in tables as opposed to CSS. Another thing on my to-do list.
