It's http://gofishing.tv

A fishing video site with clips from around the world.

I hope to pay someone to do a site with clipshare software at some point.
So I did my best for now.

Thank you in advance :hearts:

(ps, if you only watch one video you should watch the Roosterfish Baja trailer video, it's my friend starring on it and its great! He just landed a deal with the outdoor channel for a show called Trout Unlimited)

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

Well the design is a default template
The background can be changed to another color IMO
As it is now it's all about the quantity and quality of your video clips

Ok, here is the deal ;)

I, personally, don't like the color lol. If possible, I would change it to something else lol, maybe white-grayish - something along those lines.

The design is simple, and usually simple = decent

But ya, for me, color has to be changed.

Overall grade = 6.5/10 (color!!!!!)

Hope I didn't seem harsh ;) - Just saying what I see :D

No, advice is always appreciated! I was just trying to go natural, I hate loud colors...I wil give the grey a shot, I wish I could make blogger look like wordpress!

Some constructive criticism -

Change the font to a sans-serif font -easier to read. Eg Arial
Dont use Blogger
Make the content stand out more from the background color.

I think using blogger is perfectly fine, but the blogger 'subdomain' is going to be searched, not your gofishing.tv domain, I would suggest going without the gofishing.tv domain iframed on top of the blogger url. Kind of like name pros member Reece has doen with 4 letter noob http://4letternoob.wordpress.com/

Thanks, and reps to everyone...

raredn.com, sorry I'm not quite understanding? I see her blog but I'm needing more explanation :)

If I search google for gofishing.tv the first result is the blogspot address, not the tv address....

%%-

Yes, that is because if you go to view in your browser and look at the source code on gofishin.tv you see almost no HTML code. This is because you have framed the blogspot adress at your domain registrar, search engines most of the time can not see a framed site, but search engines can see the blogsport address perfectly well. That is why you are best of using the blogspot address only, unless you want to go giving out your gofishing.tv address just out to people you know, but for search it won't work

Sorry it is not iframed but in a standard frameset

<frameset rows="100%,*" border="0">
<frame src="http://gofishingtv.blogspot.com/" frameborder="0" />
<frame frameborder="0" noresize />
</frameset>

If a search engine were to crawl gofishing.tv, the above HTML code is all the search engine crawler would see. That is why I suggest forgetting the gofishing.tv domain and going with gofishingtv.blogspot.com, and put that clearly in the title as your domain

The bare bones of it is, you really don't have choice to use your own domain name with your set up. That said your current set up is still good and nothing wrong with having a website as you have already now. As mentioned, namepros user Reece Berg has a similar 'subdomain' set up with his blog 4 letter domain blog 4letternoob.wordpress.com which ranks high in google

Thank you again rare, I've changed the settings to forward from blogger to the custom domain, if you have a minute can you tell me if I've done it properly?
