I have seen a whole new set of tele adverts for gold, mainly companies wanting to buy gold and pay you for it.

and a couple of others. They don't have great names, so what would your appraisal be of goldtradein.com?

They do not have great names, but their marketing is spot on. Endusers that have a creative marketing plan can make "gold" out of any name, as you have witnessed.

Endusers also are smart enough to realize that you can get away with breaking the victorianesque self-imposed domainer rules of -(hyphens), 4(for), u(you) and the silly 14 letter rule that is ignored by the real world. They are reaching a certain demographic of the population that does not concern themselves with these rules for names and will visit these sites because of what they have to offer.

Go seek out any competition these sites may have. It is going to take work on your end to trumpet the availability of your name.
