Hi...

i'm having some problems...

i visited domainsite.com

and just began radomly typing in names to see which one was available...

than i saw that china.info was available

so i proceeded to buy it...with paypal...

everything was smooth......paypal money sent to domainsite...

but now i found out that the domain belongs to someone else...

how can this be?

i really dont understand...

i tried...and it says...

that the name expires in 2008....now how can that be?

this is my first time encountering whois error...... :td:

i just hope it's not a TM issue or anything like that....


the other problems is that domainsite.com accepted my payment through paypal..it's confirmed

They will take your payment just the same, prob. was a whois error as mentioned, you should always double check a names availability if it seems to good to be true at other registrars.

PayPal will most likely refund your money in a few days or so.

i just discovered that domain site is having problems with

.info names...

everyone of their infomation is wrong...i double checked for soooo many names...

domainsite says it is available.....but actually it's NOT!!

I'd contact the customer support at DomainSite and let them know of the situation. They will more than likely give you a refund. It happened to me once at Go Daddy and they reimbursed my credit card promptly.

Yeah I have seen that domainsite told me LCD.info was available, GODaddy Siberia.info was available.

I had a few do this before at DS and it usually just puts the money in your account when the domains are not really available ... Not sure if they refund or not - But it never hurts to contact them to see -
