domain PLEASE Help! Need advice QUICKLY...

Hello,

I have 2 major corporations looking at my domain, BuyUnion dot com. They're goal is to target market their products to the 15 million union member market through this domain. I have a conference call with one CEO this week and I'm working with the Director of Marketing for one of the BIG 3 car manufactures in Detroit. Where do I begin with negotiations? What is it worth? Any suggestions?

Detroit is really suffering right now. You're likely to do better with the other. I don't know what it's worth, though.

that is a tough call, maybe start with a number in the low xx,xxx and decide early what you will accept.

you also could start an auction for it if you can't solidify a sale with one of them and then refer the interested parties there.

ask them to make an offer, what i do know is if some big business person is going to conference call me then they better pay me at least 5k. Target 20k ?

are these two calls related? seems strange to get that much interest in one week from 2 major corporations

You should also remove the full name from the post, lest it gets indexed and the prospective buyers find this thread.

Instead of the name try replacing with BuyUnion dot com or BuyUnion (dot) com etc.

Thank you for your suggestions. The only relation between both companies are that their employees are represented by Labor Unions. Both are in totally different arenas but have a substantial market share with Labor Union Members. This donain is a way for them to sell product and services into the market more effectively (Possibly a great Labor Day Campaign in early September).

BTW, I started contactacting executives at several companies a few weeks ago with follow-up contacts last week. I've received some very positive response and will be going into a conference call within a day or two with one of the companys.

I thought they contacted you first. To me it's a little diffrent when you as the domain owner starts up the process, price demand you ask goes down some, if i was selling. But thats just me lol Instead of it being "our company has been working on this great project for a year and we think you have a great name for it" It will now be "Hey this guy with a great name is calling us trying to unload it, lets conference call him and see what we can get it for"
