please give me feedback on my intro!!

hi, i've been working on this introduction for some time now, and i could really use a set of unbiased eyes to give feedback. does anyone have any suggestions on how to improve this? i really appreciate any help i can get!

It's beautifully done. But the inherent problem with virtually ALL 'intros' is that nobody wants to sit through them. People on the net think and react much more quickly than an intro allows. They don't want to sit there and watch all the pretty colors. They want information -- NOW. An intro, in my opinion, should last no more than 3-5 seconds.

its pretty good. mabe when you hover over the ball it will take about 2 seconds to make the others go away instead of it being instant. and loop da music

Very cool animation.

In the intro before the movie where it says "legislative..." and then some sub links underneath it, perhaps you could make the sublinks a different colour to show they are sub options?

Also in regards to the navigation. I am not too fond of the disappearing links, as it makes it slower for me to click on another option, should I change my mind. What is the circle doing on the left hand side... when you move your mouse over a menu it turns hollow and doesn't look too good.

The text at the bottom doesn't look very anti-aliased and quite pixalised, maybe you could smoothen that out.

I like how it fits a 1280x1024 resolution. Maybe the big orage circle in the middle could like to an "about page" because you need one of those as well as a contact page.

Maybe you could have a sort of glow or fade when you move your mouse over the link. I appreciate it probably took a long time to actionscript but you must think of functionability first.

i love it! but like others say, it may be ignored quite a lot on the internet as people will want to skip to view the main website. you may need a "skip to end" button

It good, but again people who use the internet want QUICK info on the fly, there not interested in sitting infront of a screen looking at an intro, to them its pointless.
