In all honesty, I dislike both of them, especially a design site. A design site is supposed to grab your attention with it's design and show off all of your technical skills. I think you should work on your design skills before trying to start off a web design company.

1st one: Im not sure about the colours you have used here, and also with the font.

2nd one: This one is better but I have an issue with the colour!

the first one is far too busy and it lacks organization. Looks like it's all just stacked on top of eachother. The color combo works just fine though..

I have to agree that the second one looks much more polished. It really does need some color to give it some flash or something to catch the viewer's eye. I like the clean, simple layout, but a design site needs to be a little more exciting.

They are both ok, the second I think i like a bit more, but you need to add more color to the site, kind of bland at the moment.

Well, the both of them look nice but if I were to choose one I would choose the second one just becouse I like centered layouts

i like the new one better, but the blank spaces to the left and the right of the navigation bug the crap out of me . the new one could be much better than the old one with a little moving around, i think.
