domain Please Appraise traveladventure.com, adventuretravel-usa.com

Hey everybody! I was asked by some random person via email if I wanted to sell my traveladventure.com domain and figured I would do some research to see what it might actually worth. Note that it is not plural(ending with an s). There is a student travel company that people kept trying to reach but got my site instead and cost me time and money dealing with those calls.

Thought I would include the adventuretravel-usa.com in the appraisal basket as well. I'm on the fence about letting them go but I have other much more prominent domains to promote my adventure travel services.

Any thoughts?

As soon as I saw it I knew it could be quite a nice domain even without the plural which is why I cam to the thread in the first place.

I would be happy to sell for mid $xxx if I owned it, travel sites and things of that nature are tough to rank for I think because of the huge competition and if you are not inclined to develop it I would just let it go...as you say it is costing you time and money to keep responding to people so get back what you can and plough it into something more worthwhile If you had the keywords the other way around you could sell it for mid $xxxx but even so, it is brandable.

It would be wonderful as someones blog...

The other one, forget it as the hyphen and USA kills it for me, hyphens are not really that bad if they go well but in this case it simply makes it look cheap

Thanks for the reply. Reversing the key words would be fantastic but it has been taken and is currently in use thus it is moot to even discuss it. Travel type domains are very specific and commands a greater audience because of the ever growing online accessabilty. I would believe it could command something more in the 4+ digit realm due to it's well recognized keywords.
As for the -USA domain...again... it is specific and possibly be worth more especially when the focus is US inbound adventure seekers from abroad.
