I've been offered $2,200 for this. I think it's quite low, especially since I still have some thoughts about starting a food blog using this. And I see there are others on the Web calling themselves "The Foodist," so I wonder if one of them is trying to buy the name.
Also, the offer came through Network Solutions. Original offer was for $1,500. I counter-offered with $24,000. They went up to $2,200. But now there doesn't appear an opportunity for me to ask for more... either I can accept or reject it. I'm assuming if I reject it, the person can still make me a new offer. But if anyone has any thoughts about how to proceed, I'd appreciate it...
I do believe there are more people starting to call themselves "foodists" -- like a smarter version of "foodie." So I think the name has great potential as the term spreads. Maybe it's worth it just to hold on a few more years? Again, I may also want to use it myself...
