Hello guys,

I have just bought TabletUpdate.com on an expired domain bid (the domain is 6 years old). I guessed that with all the hype about tablets, it should be an interesting domain for a specialized site, and I also think that the interest will likely grow in the coming years.

Can you please give me your opinion on the potential value of the domain?

I really like the domain and the potential for the domain is quite exciting.

If you can afford to wait around for a few months and get $xxxx + for it then that would be a good plan. For a reseller you might get $50 - $150 maybe more at auction.

This is a domain that become great when people start searching for tablet updates, and could be used to sell general add on apps etc for tablets.

Its a nice name, you can expect a range of $xx to $xxx at a reseller price. But it would be cool if you develop it as a website that gives out updated news related to the latest tablets in the market - and you're sure not to run out of content as the tablet market is really heating up.

yeh you could put some amazon affiliate links on it along with adsense. Personally I didn't get a great response from amazon yet. There are many other good monetizing options you could try, but initially it would be a good idea to focus on the design and content of the website. You could always monetize it once it starts to attract decent visitors.
