11 years old means it's always going to be grabbed by someone who likes an aged domain and overlooks the TM danger.

But that doesn't have to be you; iPad is a trademark and we appraise TM names as zero value, or negative value due to possible legal problems.

I am not sure when was "ipad" trademaerked, but I guess it wasn't 11 years ago. So there are no TM issues with this domain.
I'd say high $xx to low $xxx since it can be easily developed as an ipad accessories sale site.

My bad, the content of the site may cause TM issues, BUT the domain itself doesn't.

Which Is exactly what I was referring to in my first post.

There no point in debating this, its a massive court battle as we speak, just pointing out you cant say a 11 year old ipad domain is in the clear.

if you were the original registrant, you may have a reverse trademark defense, you have already archived yourself in using the domain in bad faith, which it seems is your true intention, so the domain as of now has $0 value, even if you went before a udrp they would most likely side with Apple, and not you, being a random guy who has an interest in this domain whatever your defense would be...

There is nobody who is going to put real money down to purchase this domain, and take that sort of risk, so the domain has $0 value. I would delete asap.

How many other sites has apple shut down, are you now arguing the validity of the apple trademark, that is a seperate case that apple can throw billions of dollars at, and most likely buy their way out of.

We are talking about this random guy here, who walks in around 2009, and says he has the right to this term, which is not true, there is no defense, we know apple has put billions into advertising, and no way John Smith, from Everytown, USA has a chance.

The sooner you realize this, the sooner you will stop giving all domainers a bad name, if Apple came at you, do you have the funds to defend yourself, you would look for the nearest cave, and hide. Be realistic........

Looks like there are no earlier regs/drops for this name either, all info seems to start in '09, so dunno where the OP gets his '11 years' history info...

Sometimes, using a TM domain is acceptable if you are an affiliate for example. TM holders have varying policies, I don't know how Apple treats affiliates.
But this domain is parked and has sponsored links for ipad/iphone => not good.

Zero value, stay away from all trademarks
