domain Please appraise SunlessTanning.com for me

Hi,

New to the forum. Just found you today! I have a domain that I am considering selling and I'm trying to determine it's worth. I found a place a couple of weeks ago called premiumdomain.com and they evaluated it and gave it a score of 741 out of 1,000 (1,000 being the best score).

According to them, it has a really good scoring, but I still am not sure how to go about determining a fair price. (SunlessTanning.com)

The domain covers a wide variety in the sunless industry which could include sunless lotions, creams, sprays, tanning beds, spray or mist-on tanning booths etc.

Any help or suggestions on how to price it would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to Namepros.

The name's been regged since 2000 and has OVT of "3609 sunless tanning" which is ok for a .com - no results with extension so type-ins are probably not too high. Recently saw a nice generic .com with about 28000 OVT w/o extension sell for $1500 to a domainer. So you're looking at around 1/8 or so of that value to a domainer.


To a domain reseller you could sell it in the low $xxx range. If you're happy to part with it quickly list here and I'm sure you'll sell it. I'll pay you $125 for it.

Otherwise,

To an end-user I'd say $500 - $3500 range - (which requires a little more work).

If you opt to go that route, find some potential end-users and email them offering the name and the benefits of owning it. Someone may bite.
