I have this domain, which is a button present on Google+ to start a videochat. Not that I'm really interested in it or worried if I ever lose it, I bought it for just $1.99 (btw using a special promotion at Namecheap you can get by liking their Facebook page), but I'm interested in your input about its legitimacy. Despite being composed of perfectly generic words, containing no TMs (from a quick check, Google doesn't even own TM for 'hangout(s)', let alone the entire phrase) etc., could it ever have any possible legal implications?

eBay got bit in the butt a few years back for having a "buy it now" button on their listings as some other website had planned to have that as a button, once they finished reading html for dummies.

eBay ended up settling that lawsuit.

I don't think you'd be in danger for using that phrasing. I suppose it depends on what you do with the site though as far as developing goes.
