Hi,
I would appreciate if anyone could appraise seekcode.com and its project. It's website does not yet have any hits as it's in development but the project that is sold along with the domain is already partially working.
A short description of the project resides in the website but here's a paste:
The SeekCode project takes care of parsing Web CVS interfaces and downloading source code. It then parses the source code file and retrieves all function/method definitions and all function/method calls to a local database.
A web interface allows users to search for examples of code, receiving links to Web CVS entries as results.
I'll be posting the sale at sedo. It may be a good idea to wait before selling and put some work on the website, but I'd like to hear any opinions.
Thanks,
raddy
Both the parsing robot and web interface are still in development. The parsing robot at the moment can take care of downloading CVS source code files, parsing C and C++ sources using some home-made regular expressions that only seem to work with the .NET regex engine and submitting that information to a database.
