hey people i cant rembmer what it is but theres a function in php i belive called something (str_ something i think)

that stops the browser parsing html and php stuff when selelcting data from a database

basically ive got this entry in my database that contains html and i cant remmber the function i use to stop it processing it when its selected from the database

any ideas cheers

Are you thinking of htmlspecialchars or htmlenteties? Is what you're wanting to do is display the source code of the html rather than having the browser parse it when you print it? If so, you can also use <xmp> or <pre> tags around what your print.
