Seems this is becoming more popular online. When you're looking into home prices, rent estimates let you know if it makes more sense to buy or to rent a home.
Also if you're buying a home as income property, it lets you know an estimated figure you can expect to get for renting the place.

I actually run a lettings agency in england and can see your idea but being honest it would make sense as an app or as a script running along side a normal property portal, e.g. search for a sale property and at the side it tells you how much it would be to rent out to help the buy-to-let investors but as a stand alone site it would take a lot of money to get it known/noticed, certainly in england where people just know rightmove/findaproperty and primelocation. As far as a valuation, personally being a complete novice in this field I would say if your lucky someone would take for $xx undeveloped....
