Just picked these up today after a bit of research. Let me know what you think...

HoardSilver.com - I know estibot doesn't mean much, but, it has it's moments :) Gave this one a mid xxx. Not many searches at all. With the market in shambles though, silver can skyrocket at any time...more than it already has. Would be a perfect re-sell to a refinery, coin dealer/collector, for profit mints, etc.

BuyASlide.com - 9,900 local searches per month. Estibot also gave a mid xxx on this. Great name for a sedo auction or for re-sell to a toy/playground equipment company.

Howtopaynotaxes.com - 14,800 searches per month. Might be a decent re-sell for an offshore tax attorney/financial consultant or developing into an e-book site.

In the left column usually, look under Match Types. Check off this one - [Exact] uncheck the others. Then search. Those searches get 12, 28 and 170 global searches a month. This was brought up in your other thread, this is just more accurate. So knowing that, I wouldn't even hand reg. The only time I would reg something with low search volume or even none at all, are brandable type domains.

This is the "real" value of your three domains above. There are several concepts that must be understood before one can survive and ultimately thrive in this business (or any other business). I think the most important one to start with is the law of supply and demand.

Before one can sell something, he must have something that people want. It can be either a good or service. In this case, let's think of domains as goods. Now here comes the important part and the bottom line. If there had been a demand for these domains, they would not have been available. Therefore, they have no value. You have the domains (supply) but no demand.

Knowing this now we can place a value on the domains themselves. So me must ask, how much did the domains cost to register and how much time did I waste researching and obtaining the domains? I place a value on human life at $100/Hr. If it took you a total of 45 minutes for your time, we have an opportunity/labor cost of $75. If the domains were $7 each, we have total registration costs of $21. Together these total $96.

In conclusion, you have now dug a financial hole instead of building on to your castle of wealth. In business, we can move in one of two directions, forwards or backwards. I recommend deleting these domains from your account and adopting a few rules until you get your feet wet.

1. Don't register domain names.
2. Don't think of domains as lottery tickets.
3. Don't plan on more than 25% returns.
4. Learn PHP and other Webmastering skills to add value to your current portfolio.
5. Never develop bad domains.
6. Learn the combination effect of building out only good domains. A $100 domain and a $100 development equals a $1000 website. A $1000 domain and a $1000 build out equals a $10,000 website.
7. Focus your energies on fewer domains with higher qualities. It's better to have 5 great domains than 500 okay domains.
8. Diversify. Try to have at least 3 sources of income.
9. Stay away from non .COM TLDs.
10. Never break the 14 character rule.
11. Always be kind and truthful.
12. Don't believe the media's lies.
13. There is no better feeling in the world than sleeping on freshly washed sheets.
14. Cash is king.

(Note: these are off the top of my head. I've got hundreds more that will hopefully one day make it into a book.) (:gl:)

Hope this helps.....I've got to run and drink some more coffee. Cheers! (:

I kinda like HoardSilver.com domainer wise your starting off with a blank slate ($0-low xx) But people instantly recognize and gravitate to the name if there interested in building up their stash of "poor mans gold" These two words are not randomly put together.

Howtopaynotaxes.com The important word here is "no" No seems to suggest illegal, Got to be careful with this one. "offshore tax attorney/financial consultant" wouldnt touch it in my opinion. $0
