I have come across a person who owned a country TLD which is some yahoo.tld (dont remember the domain), but yahoo cant do anything since its a personal site. But i dont think this will happen with google.

Can google touch sub-domains? I mean, Why couldn't I create a page on my website titled "google.QuantumTheory.org"?

If it is a subdomain, he is clear of google (imo), but then again..he still paid $250 for a sub domain

Thanks for ur advice. They have all been great. I was just thinking since google is not a trademark in Nigeria, can they really lay claim to trademark ownership, just wondering. I might be wrong

Google has hundreds of typos and alternate TLD versions of their trademark that they've seized.
