I wonder if I could expect to get 100 for a resale value?

Maybe Mid $xx.. I see no practical use for it. It's just a domainers domain.

Just a thought, 6am-2pm is a frequent work shift in certain jobs. Maybe someone working the morning shift wants 6-2.net as a name for a blog. Very bland but so was the name "Clerks" and that was a great movie.

N-N.net type domains currently have a low-mid $xx minimum saleprice.

actually, as I said before (my post was "mysteriously" deleted), current observed Minimum Wholesale Price (per combo) as of May 1, 2011 for N-N.net is in the low 1xx$ (Source: 3Character, which is a source reported also in other sections of NP).
Regards.

I am thinking in the Mid xx range myself.

Their prices are overall way too ambitious. Not a reliable source. Mid $xx is what you'll actually be able to GET for the domain.

well, those are prices from recent sales, not estimates/appraisals, which, for their own nature, could be "discretionary" :)
And sales, until a different evidence, are the most accurate gauge, since represent how much buyers (not just one specific buyer) are willing to spend.

For example, check their minimum sale price for LLL.coms. This is not based on recent sales at all. there are plenty LLL.coms for sale for $4000 while this site shows $4550 minumum. Simply not true.

I guess there has been a misunderstanding here.
I was referring to real/actual sales, not to "for sale" domains prices (which are discretionary, since everyone can ask the price he wants and which don't represent actual sales, but only prices of domain offered to the market for sale).
If, as you say, (but I have to check the figure you mentioned) a lot of LLL.coms for sale have a lower ask price than their minimum actual sales price it means the market is in a downward trend :) and this should be recorded by next months actual sales figures.
Regards.

Not at all.

3character.com is simply showing 'minimum prices' that are a lot higher than actual sales. They do not disclose where the sales data comes from. It is just an unreliable source, based on bogus, not actual sales.. I suggest you read this thread: http://www.namepros.com/429599-lll-com-sales-report-discussion-thread-103.html And compare it to the 3character guide.

I see you're a new member here. If you don't have the actual experience it takes to appraise a domain it won't add much information for the owner, just a lot of confusion.

About the source reliability, I was checking and actually they should clear up where their sales data come from, since it's not shown on their site.
Thanks, I know and I've already read the NP Short Domain Discussion, as other sections here.
Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not a newbie, despite the fact I have been regged here only since April, as I already said.
And let me tell you that if your only valuation experience is that of being a domainer and being regged here since a few years, you will be disappointed to know that many other people can have better valuation skills (not only in the domains field, which are a sort of intangible assets).
I guarantee you that there are assets which are more difficult to appraise than domains, so please learn to respect other people view (the fact that you are a moderator here does not entitle you to downplay other people opinions).
But you live in the domain world only ... so I'm not surprised by your reaction ... maybe it's the syndrome of "lese-majesty" ... (which majesty then? ...)
Regards.
