Good morning,
I was wondering, since I need a name for a website I need to develop where the theme is [...], if the domain name PLANET[...].com - that is free - would be a good pick and sounds nicely in english.

[...]PLANET.com is taken, so I wouldn't have a choice.

Let me know your guesses, thanks!

Go for it. Its dot com and you say it sounds good. But be sure about how it sounds and dont let your heart mislead you just because you like the keyword

The S on the end wouldn't be a killer if the name was like that.. But, it all depends on what the second word really is. Is it really 'frames'?

I don't really know if I'm reading your OP right enough, but FramePlanet in com is showing available. FrameSPlanet is gone. The singular works better than the plural, imo. But that could also depend on the use of the domain as to which might be better.

PlanetFrames makes me primarily think of snapshots from all around the planet - if that's supposed to be the domain's intended message.

If ....Planet.com is dealing in the same subject matter, you will need to invest in content and SEO, if it's your intention to beat them in the SERPS.

Are there any alternatives like WORLD or GLOBAL. comes to mind.

the idea is creating a multilingual aggregator for meme (comics / vignettes) images with a strong taxonomy behind.
Which of the two you advise to use as the main one?

I agree with @Cal2 above. Use the singular and redirect the plural.
