Hello Guys,

Would you give me some idea about the name PIMY.COM?

I think this is a very nice Brandable LLLL.COM name so should be sold at Low - Mid x,xxx$. But currently highest offer I got here is $350 only.

Am I wrong?

What is your suggestion?

Thanks in advance :tu:

I may be wrong but I thought brandable and easy to say LLLL.com was only worth mid $xx to low $xxx. But that I guess is in the wholesale market I am not sure what these are worth in the retail market but from what I have found there is no real way to determine how much value a potential buyer sees in any particular name. So it could be worth $xxx, xxx to the right person! but unlikely :)

Hello JasMate,
Thanks for your suggestion though I don't agree on you (mid $xx to low $xxx). Hope I am lucky to find an end user :)

And any other ideas?

Nice name. I have recently paid over mid $xxx for a name like this, although it did receive traffic. A lot of cack domains are passed off as 'premium letters' or 'pronounceable' when in reality you would need three tongues to get close. This is more pronounceable than most of those, so i would value it at low $xxx presently (assuming no traffic), but it would probably be wise to hold onto the name for a couple of years as the value will increase dramatically once all of the LLLL.coms are taken.
Good Luck

I think $350 was quite a reasonable offer.

I agree. You'll likely be hard pressed to get more unless the domain gets good traffic.

Nice domain, good luck!

I wouldn't pay $20 for it, honestly. It's not very brandable at all!

I disagree the name is VERY brandable. All names are brandable in one way or another but a domain that you can easily say, rolls off the toungue and sticks in your mind is a VERY brandable domain and this domain name does that. But still I agree with everyone here that it is not worth more than low $xxx (to the right person) unless it gets traffic/revenue.

Thanks for all of you!

The name is parked at Sedo and got 20 uniques last month (Very few... I have a name get 400 Uniques per day at Sedo)

I agree with that It many not worthy of $x,xxx at present, but who knows what would happen 1 -2 years later when all LLLL.COM gone? And I believe the end user who is loooking for high brandable domain would pay a good price for it.

I love this name, and not going to sale it in a hurry :)

PIMY.COM - 4 Letter .com (.net tld reserved)

Off hand although the domain has some brandability - However I do believe the $350.00 offer was fair. I also believe that if you hold onto the domain name, it will be worth more in the next year as domain sales/prices steadily increase.

I dont know if you negotiated with the potential buyer, however, I would also suggest countering for more. Negotiations are part of the game. However what it boils down to is this, with that $350 offer, can you go out and buy other potentially valuable domain names and make more? Yes. I believe you could take the 350 and invest it in a few expiring names, sit on those and do better.

However, the end result is up to you. Good luck.
