Great video ideal for domainers like myself starting out. If it's been posted on namepros before please delete thread mods. I had a quick search but not in-depth so apologies.

Think it's straight to the point for me anyways . Also some hope for those of us with anything other than .com

Again investment funding is the hardest part however i started a small business in the UK a few years back with local charity funding with the option for interest free loans . So there are lots of avenues if it is one route that perhaps is closed off.

https://www.princes-trust.org.uk/help-for-young-people/get-funding-train-learn

This is for UK residence and i when i applied at the time there was an age limit i believe it was 16-24 you also had to have a business plan in place again this was a few years ago.

I am sure domaining would not be out of the question as long as you have a working business plan that is profitable in the long run.

I started an online business through eBay selling retro games /equipment i loved it however i was misinformed badly for example i had no idea how self-employment rules worked for example i applied for PAYE when i had no staff . My top tip is HIRE an ACCOUNTANT from the get go i cannot stress this enough and i think even an hour to go over your business ,taxs, revenue etc makes a lot of difference

There are also some really great free business seminars @ https://www.bgateway.com/

I think they are UK wide and offer some great start up/fully fledged seminars which give you a better understanding. It actually stopped me from hiring a premises to online sales only which made life so much easier. Again they are free no timeshare scam no extended seminars no crap you go for an hour or two and you leave with greater knowledge. Also you get to network which is always a bonus .

update.PNG Some updates for princess trust .The age limit is 30 and UK only. I used the funding for stock. Again i was terrible with organizing so i never sent my business costs to be calculated for example i used to post lots of items all over the world which is covered under running costs . I never submitted travel, food all kinds of expenses and instead paid more tax rather than alleviate my running costs. For example if you wanted to use it to purchase domains to start your business you could potentially build a business plan with examples on the forum "sales history , demand ,market prices/liquid domains etc" . Anything from paper to pens is written off in Tax and all of the above i missed out on. I'm pretty sure if you needed a computer to start and it was essential to the business then that might be ok too.

I may be incorrect but i also heard you can buy a car for business use for it to be reimbursed if essential to you operation . Uniforms ,packaging material are all covered and a whole lot more.

The idea behind the trust is to help reduce unemployment hence the funding for training, tools and with the right advice it could be the little nest egg which you hatches into your golden hen.
