Hi Friend,

If having to select one from these three domains to do web hosting, which would you pick?

Thanks a lot.

None of those names sound appropriate for a hosting site.

Thanks Gene for the tip.

Yes, I know there are many active hosting sites using webhosting-related word(s) in their site domains, but I've noticed there are other active web hosting sites without using webhosting-related word(s) in their site domains, like aplus.net, globat.com, omnis.com, lypha.com, theplanet.com, uk2.net, godaddy.com, 1and1.com, fatcow.com, fortunecity.com, rhizome.org, startlogic.com, ait.com, gawwk.com......Sometimes confusing, is it better to have a domain with a direct webhosting meaning to do web hosting?

Again, thank you very much for your tip.

You're absolutely right, there are many hosting sites that use nonsensical words successfully, but they are usually the ones who create massive marketing campaigns to brand the name and drill it into people's heads. If that's what you intend to do, great!

But the names you list to choose from are not so brandable. In fact, they not only don't sound like a good hosting name -- but worse -- they sound like a whole different type of site altogether. If I was going to a site named WorldMoneyMaking.com, I'd expect it to be a site based on Money, not hosting. Why confuse your customer? Choose a name that they can relate with hosting, even if it's a nonsensical name.

I would agree, sound more like financial based domains IMO - richvalue is the better of the three considering what you intend to use it for.

I also prefer rich value among the 3 there. It sorts of gives your customer a rich value when they buy hosting from you.

I wouldn't use any of them.

I would go for: WorldGrow.com

(in short: WorldMoneyMaking.com = to long
RichValue.com = gives me the feeling that it is only about the money)

Thank you all.

Ok, I'll create a name with obvious webhosting meaning/connotation.
