I'm thinking it would make a good fan site (to avoid TM issues)

Also it could be used with subdomains to even target certain fans as in:

australian.pgaopen.com
us.pgaopen.com
etc...

And throw up some forums and leaderboards and stuff like that.

So what you guys think it is worth?

very strong name with lots of potential to go in any direction...

for just the domain name, i'd say at least low $xxxx if you can avoid the TM issues. golf people are quite wealthy too which helps.
