Co-incidentally, Tolkien (author of Lord Of the Rings) grew up in my home town and his inspiration for the Hobbit was gained from a place called Sarehole Mill, no more then 3 miles from where I'm sitting now

May well be wise advice, although I do believe the popularity will run and run. The Trilogy of books has long been famous in the UK, where Tolkien grew up, but it is only in recent years that the rest of the world has really recognised the trilogy as a masterpiece.

Just recently, a TV program running over several months polled the opinion of the masses to determine what was the best READ of all time and Tolkiens Lord of The Rings won hands down!

Lord of the Rings is an amazing trilogy of films (I cant comment on the books) but of course the hype does slightly cool down once the film has been realeased in cinema etc etc.

I can only speak for England but we dont yet have the 3rd film on video/DVD yet so the film has a while to go in the popularity stakes.

I may well have registered this if I had seen it unavailable! I dont tend to check such names though as I would automatically assume that it would be taken!
