I'm surprised at you all that you aren't too keen on the ill.pet and the illness.pet or physician.pet.

I mean people spend so much money on pet whatever. it's like literally having a baby. it's crazy! so when these people pour their heart and soul into a pet and money. you would think as soon as it gets sick they will rush to the internet to find out why their dog is acting this way or throwing up or looks tired whatever. because keywords

Sick or illness or even short ill or disease? will pop into mind yes? perfect domain for say a pet information site? or even better a veterinary clinic?

Several days ago I tried to reg " Sick.pet" and found it was previously registered.

IMO you have listed several very nice overall .pet related names related to a pet's health and welfare.

My personal preference would be " ill " vs " illness ", though both are nice names.

I believe all of the logically phrased pet " groom" related names are already reg, so by default and by opinion prefer the " Wash.pet" domain name you registered.

There are a variety of do-it-yourself dog/pet wash services available, so you should be appealing to that segment of the dog/pet grooming business!

wow! i never knew there was such a niche. but is it big? perhaps a bigger whale to sell to would be instead of a "service" perhaps a company that sell special pet wash products? anyone know of any? let me Yagoogle it.

Some of the traditional brick and mortar dog / pet grooming businesses offer a" do -it - yourself " wash option.

In essence " you the customer " uses the groomer's washing and drying equipment for a fee.

In regards to all of the variety of pet products related to " washing your pet " the overall products line is huge, from brushes, to shampoos, to home pet wash tubs, to dryers etc.

nice! good info but who is the BIG WHALE in this overall "market" of Pet Washing market? I mean I know I can google it but if you already know offhand since you seem to be "in the know" can you please share?. might be useful to the others in this thread too. thanks.

I think it's the negative association. Nobody wants his pet to be sick and when already confronted with this problem, I think the last thing the owner wants is to visit domains such as sick.pet or ill.pet.

cure.pet or healthy.pet would be much more appealing.

Offhand can't cite a national or international " whale " in the per se business of pet washing amongst the individual local "minnows" that offer pet wash services.

Regarding pet products that relate to washing, there are so many pet products that can be used for general daily grooming and are also used for preparing a pet for a " wash ", such as brushes, clippers, etc.

There are also more pet wash specific products such as shampoos, de-tanglers, conditioners, sprayers, dryers, tubs - both stationary and adjustable - etc.

Your domain may have a very broad appeal, from the neighborhood grooming service to perhaps an industry whale that sells a broad spectrum of pet products.

You guys are a bad influence...made me get a .pet as well!:guilty:

I got cyber.pet - cool domain for future robot or virtual pets.

cyberpet - an electronic toy that simulates the activities of a pet, requiring the owner to feed, discipline, and entertain it

Darn! I was actually looking for the right word. "cyber" - that's it! I was thinking electronic, electric, artificial, ...

Awesome domain! :)

but FYI? ill pet had 84 + search results but Cure pet? it had only 34 + million search results. I'm guessing alot of websites know there are pet owners who are looking for answers to their questions about whatever illness their pet has. and not just dogs but all animal pets. so they target that keyword in their content.

so if someone had the domain ill.pet and say they were a vet or a pet medicine company? I'm sure they will want to be on the top of a list of 84 million but I'm sure cure.pet is more brandable. either one I will sell them.

$1 million smackers! lol no guts no glory! lol I'm nuts!

how's that for a sales pitch? what animal loving person who is concerned about their pet won't click a targeted domain like that?

I mean would we even argue on the quality say of a domain like say if there was an extension like .Cancer

and I registered. Mesothelioma.Cancer?

Someone has mesothelioma first word they will Google will be Mesothelioma no?

eehh everything is a gamble. I'll let you guys know how it goes if and when these sell. thanks Brandon for Cure.Pet
