Hey guys,

I'm trying to take a screenshot of an innocent home video I am playing in Windows Media Player. Every time I take a screen though, even using screenshot programs - they never take screens of the video.

How can I get around this?

Thanks,
Andy

What do you mean by clicking on the frame and selecting save as?

I tried print screen, it does the exact same thing. It puts black all over the video area.
My guess is that this is protect people from taking screenshots of copyrighted material or something, but the thing I'm trying to take a few screens from obviousley isn't copyrighted in any way.

try other players. i have had similar issues with media player but i think i ran it in media player classic or divx player or something and i could use print screen then

Edit: after doing some Googl'ing I found out how.
I just disabled my hardware acceleration in the Display Properties deal, which allowed me to take screenshots.

Thanks guys, :)
