Hi Guys,

Recently, someone want to buy a domain from me in this forum but he give me this email address and told me to send a paypal invoice to him first.

I never send a paypal invoice before and always sold domains in this forum with the buyer paying me first through paypal.

Anyone encounter such incidents before?

It is quite common for businesses to request an invoice before payment. I see nothing unusual with his request. Send him the invoice.

It's not much different than initiating a request for payment from Paypal. Just a bit more formal. I always use invoices for Paypal payments.
Also, it's more convenient for the other party, they don't need to fill out the details, they just make the payment.

Yes especially if its a company.

Businesses like to have a matching invoice for every receipt of payment.

I think generally it makes bookkeeping easier.

It can help you too, some people aren't that detailed in the comment area when they just send payment on its own.
