Not sure in which (sub)forum to post this question, but I haven't been able to access Paypal.com for the last 14 hours. Does anyone know what's going on there!? :-/

Hello Rush, I also noticed that they can be accessed through "http://paypal.com/any country code" and finally made a payment that way. But I usually simply use Paypal.com myself and that's where the problem seems to be.

Yeah, the normal screen took about two minutes to come up. Something's not right.

No, he's right it was down but up now.

I was in a coffee shop paying for my coffee with my PayPal debit card and it was declined and the shop's processor couldn't even connect. So they were down temporarily but are now back up.

So I'm not alone here. Noticed just now that www.paypal.com actually works fine for me. I only have a problem with paypal.com (without the www), which is what I always use. That still doesn't work for me.

Yep, paypal.com works for me too now!

Seems to be a little slower than usual, but good enough for now :)

Never comforting when things like that happen - as most folks have their paypal attached to at least one bank account.
I guess it happens with all "banks" at one point in time (AmEx has gone down twice this year when I've been trying to pay for gas - had to switch to the regular old rewards visa ;) ), but it's particularly nerve-racking when it's PayPal for some reason.
