PayPal CC payment question

Is it possible to accept payment via credit card without requiring the buyer to actually signup for a PayPal account? EG, if I want someone to pay me via cc, but they do not have a paypal account nor do they want one, do paypal allow for this?

If so, can someone please give me the basic steps I need to take to do this?

I believe buyers have the option now of not to signing up.
Use to be they had to though. I found the process pretty seemless.

I dont think this is possible.

I have had my past three clients try to send me CC, and they had to sigh up to paypal

I think you have to turn the option on.. or you may just have the option off kaliboy. I believe the default is on.

You need a paypal account if you plan on using ebay, however.
