Hi all, Wonder is someone could test somthing for me?

I seem to have a problem with my buy it now buttons with paypal.

The first button works fine and takes you to the paypal site to pay.

But the rest of the buttons just dont work, they send you to the paypal main site.

So i tried using the Cart, that was the same. Am not sure if its maybe somthing to do with the cookies or cache on my system so could some one test it for me? Maybe look at the code if you cant get it working?

http://www.marketingtroll.co.uk/buytest.html

Thats what i been testing, and its really bugging me im not sure it works! lol

Thanks.

This may be your problem?

First form variables
name="cmd" value="_cart"
etc.

Second form variables
name="cmd2" value="_cart"
etc.

The "2" was added when you copied your forms right?
Its been a while since I worked with paypal shopping cart but I believe those vars have to stay the same. Naming the form elements the same shouldn't hurt because you have multiple forms for each shopping item.

Good Luck!

Exactly, and I would bet NP$ that it was Dreamweaver that was used to create that page. :)

Blackpanther, to turn off this "feature" in Dreamweaver:

Edit -> Preferences -> Code Rewriting -> Uncheck "Rewrite Form Items When Pasting"

Hi NameCaster, Thanks alot for the tip. Its been so long since i actually worked with HTML that am begining to forget it all. I had looked at that as a potential problem but then thought no, cause it has to be unique or somthing. (i dont know)

But that was the problem and its working now . :)

Thanks

Hi -RJ- your right i was using Dreamweaver, thoe i took a look at the above and dont see 'rewrite form items when pasting'

Its Dreamweaver 4.0..

Theres, 'Fix Invalidly nested and unclosed tags' ? (checked)
'Remove extra closing tags' ? (checked)
'warn when fixing or removing tags' ? (unchecked)

Cheers :)
