A very lucky seller if the bid is real.
There is a good chance that this bid is real as there may be end users who can utilize the domain name passiveincome.com efficiently.

A huge brokerage/investment company (with billions of dollars) may put the name to good use.

Of course its fake. Why would anyone or company make a first offer of one million?

How do you know it's a first offer?

I clicked on the domain is Sedo and there is only the one offer.

Usually the names get bid up over time and you can view the bid history.

This domain only has one bid.

I could see one bid if it was $500. or so as the first bid, but one million and exactly one million is a bit of a tip off in my view.

Maybe seller had a friend bid on it. If a buyer wanted a name he would bid alot less first wouldn't he/ she?

I deal with a lot of people and get set on a price, then Accept an offer thru sedo to handle the transaction on the price we agreed on. This could be the case as well, but to get more Attention, it was sent to auction. It very well could be a fake bid, but i'm just saying... lol

If real, then seller will be a rich man.

If real, then domaining is a crazy business. The name does nothing for me. I have a name I would sell for $300.00 that I think is better Imo. I guess it could be real, doubt it though.

Creating streams of passive income is the best wealth building strategy out there. It's probably a shill bid, but it could be Bob Newhart buying it for his infomercial on generating passive income, lol.

The description reads:

With the right website content and positioning (not included), this highly sought after domain name can easily attract a minimum of USD 1 million a year in annual profits.

:-/ But it's only getting 259 unique visitors per month..

Seriously! Maybe we should all put that our domains have the "POTENTIAL" to make a million a year in our sales descriptions so that some idiot makes a million dollar offer and still feels good about it that he's buying the domain at only a one year revenue!
