Parking or For Sale page?

Hello all,

A quick question to you guys. In your experience, would plastering a very big significant 'FOR SALE' (and nothing else) sign on domains result in more chances of contacts or offers? OR it doesn't matter?

Would the small bar docked at the top of a page offered by domain parking services be enough to capture any serious attention?

What are your thoughts?

Thank you!

Parking is good option (Especially bodis ;) )

If you know SEO then create a nice for sale page with targeted keywords & seo optimized.

Traffic is very important in both case to succeed. IMO.

that question and many related have been asked before.

parking, imo is best option because you may earn revenue from visitors while waiting for an offer.

with just a self hosted for sale page, unless you have adsense, it isn't being monetized, which can be an added expense.
and if you only have a page that states "this domain is for sale"...you can't deny intention.

as opposed to a parked page that may state: "this domain may be for sale"

imo...

I agree with the others, parking is what I prefer. If someone wants the domain the small "for sale" sign in the corner will usually still catch their eye. Not to mention you can earn off the other traffic it gets as well!
