Parked names and taxes

When we originally went through the steps (paperwork) in getting a business name (Twilight Research) licensed, tax id and all that. We had to order the tax id online or over the phone. The reason being was when we went to the office that issues them they said if it's strictly an internet business, there is no tax on it. Parking names would be strictly internet. right?

I can't believe that the u.s gov is going let me make a dollar and them not get a nice piece of it. I've made enough in revenue it still concerns me. I have many thousands of dollars in deductions that will help a lot.

I'm not sure if Kentucky is different from other states internet tax laws but What's your experience with this?

I'm talking about income taxes. I know that sounds crazy but that's what they said and would not issue the number as stated below.

Yes, that does sound crazy. All I can say is get another opinion and get it in writing.

I wish that was true - but don't believe it !

At the end of the year Sedo and other parking providers are obligated and will send you the proper form of your earnings which is reported to the IRS

Why do you think they all want your taxpayer ID?
