I am speaking personally what I have seen in my own account.
Past few months, I have been selling some domains via GD Prem. Listings, funny thing these domains are parked at Sedo, as this is my secondary career, as primary career pays majority of the bills, safety net etc... I am not able to develop all my domains at once. Simply one by one basis, usually about 1 per week, so I just park them at sedo, if an offer comes, great otherwise earn some revenue, even better.
I do get offers, The offers seem to come from mainly domainers, how do I know this, well the accounts are very old, I mean by the registration date. As technically when an industry specific end user buys the registration date is usually same month and year in most cases.
Well I started becoming alarmed when I saw buyers were bypassing sedo, and using GD prem listings for the domains I had listed there, so I really liked Parked.com's pages, so I applied and got approved, still testing it out with a half dozen domains, but PPC revenue seems to have increased by about 4x as much as sedo, but it is still early to say... I really like the way they have the for sale link for direct contact.
I think when the middle man is gone, having that direct communication and knowing who you are dealing with really helps to close deals.
I have been a great fan of sedo, but I just don't think they have done enough to be known in the North American market as they have in Europe.
